Church growth in the 70s, 80s and 90s was defined by the corporate “mega-church.”  The corporate mega-church has been able to reach thousands with big budgets, sprawling campuses, large staffs and extensive programming.  Large churches have demonstrated for the past three decades that “more” can be “more.”  Deliberate Simplicity demonstrates that “less” can also be “more” and in this way is a “new equation” for church development.

The phrase Deliberate Simplicity was coined by Dave Browning to describe the organic multi-site model under construction at Christ the King Community Church, where Dave is Lead Pastor.  Christ the King Community Church is a non-denominational, multi-location community church with a global reach that has experienced extraordinary results by keeping it simple.
